Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore volume, enhance facial features and create subtle, natural-looking definition. At Vicky Bonney Aesthetics in Tewkesbury, every treatment is tailored to your individual facial features and goals, with a focus on balance rather than changing the way you look. Treatments are available for areas including the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, helping to restore lost volume, soften lines and enhance your natural features while maintaining a refreshed, natural appearance.

LIP ENHANCEMENT
Define • Hydrate • Enhance

Lip filler can be used to enhance your natural lip shape, improve definition and symmetry, restore lost volume or create a fuller appearance. Every treatment is tailored to your features and desired result, with a focus on balanced, natural-looking lips.

FACIAL REJUVENATION
Restore • Soften • Balance

Dermal filler can be used strategically through the cheeks, nasolabial folds and marionette lines to restore lost volume, soften deeper lines and improve facial balance. Treatment is personalised to your individual features rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

FAQ's

How long do dermal fillers last?
Results vary depending on the area treated, the product used and your individual metabolism. Dermal fillers commonly last around 6–18 months, although some areas may require maintenance sooner than others.

Will my filler look natural?
That is always the aim. Treatments are tailored to your individual facial features, with a focus on enhancing and restoring rather than changing your appearance.

Does dermal filler hurt?
You may feel some discomfort during treatment, but measures can be used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Lips can naturally be a more sensitive area.

Is there any downtime?
Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common following dermal filler treatment, particularly with lip filler. These usually settle over the following days, although swelling can take longer to fully resolve.

When will I see my final result?
You'll see a change immediately, but the area needs time to settle. We recommend allowing around 2 weeks before assessing your final result.

How much filler will I need?
There isn't one amount suitable for everyone. The amount and placement of filler will be decided following an assessment of your facial anatomy, concerns and desired result.

Can I have several areas treated together?
Yes. Where appropriate, we can create a personalised facial rejuvenation plan combining areas such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

What happens before my treatment?
A full consultation is carried out to discuss your medical history, expectations and suitability for treatment. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions before deciding whether to proceed.

Are dermal fillers permanent?
No. The hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used at Vicky Bonney Aesthetics are temporary and are gradually broken down by the body over time.

What if I have a problem after my filler?
You'll be given aftercare advice and information on what to expect following treatment, including how to contact us if you have any concerns during your recovery.
